DrM's Race Rhetoric Unwarranted, The Malay Mail, 23 February 2012

I believe many are using 'race' as their 'trump card' when it comes to win votes. However, this is how it was reported:-

"A political analyst from Universiti Sains Malaysia Dr P. Sivamurugan defended Dr Mahathir’s statement. He said all parties were guilty of playing race politics.

“I think everyone is playing along that line now to win votes from their respective ethnic groups. It might not have any effect among urban voters but rural electorate may see that as a factor,” he said.
